Busted: Gov’t officials honored Jesse’s ‘tsinelas leadership’ the night “smiling” photo was taken at his wake

When the Department of Interior and Local Government Secretary Jesse Robredo died on August 18, 2012 after his plane crashed, he was mourned by the country and was hailed as one of the best government leaders in the Philippines, especially with his ‘tsinelas leadership.’

The photo of his widow and now Vice President-elect Leni Robredo, outgoing Vice President Jejomar Binay, and the Cabinet members of the outgoing President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III smiling at his wake was taken on August 25, 2012, when these government officials celebrated Jesse’s leadership style with a lot of singing. His memorial service was then held at Malacañang’s Kalayaan Hall.

But it seemed like the VP Leni’s haters have given a totally different meaning to the photo as this was once again posted and shared online with a malicious caption, insinuating that she, along with the government officials, seemed to be smiling because they were happy Jesse died.

  1. BS! Given the tragic circumstance of how Robredo died (murdered)., there was no sane widow that would react like how she did. She saw an opportunity just like how Cory did and she greedily grabbed it.
