On Monday, May 2nd, Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV and Atty. Salvador Panelo, Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte’s legal counsel, met at BPI Julia Vargas Branch. The meet-up was set for the agreed opening of Duterte’s bank account, which Trillanes alleged to have received P211 million in 2014.

Naturally, people grew curious about what Panelo’s background is so someone tried to search for his name on Facebook. And voila! An account popped out, with photos and posts of the lawyer actively campaigning for Duterte with fellow supporters.
Upon reviewing his timeline, there were photos posted on April 11th showing Panelo with ‘volunteer ladies’ celebrating a birthday bash. The photos were captioned, “Taken during the birthday bash of a celebrated friend in her La Vista home with volunteer ladies for Mayor Duterte on April 5, 2016.”
