KABATAAN party-list rep shows Carl Arnaiz opened sari-sari store to save up for UP tuition

KABATAAN Party-list Representative Sarah Elago took to Facebook to reveal photos of 19-year-old Carl Angelo Arnaiz’ small sari-sari store and awards from school.

Elago said that Arnaiz’ mother worked as a nail care specialist in Dubai, his father has remained unemployed due to his illness, and his older sister has a family of her own. But despite the financial challenges, this did not stop Arnaiz from pursuing his dreams, dreams that were shattered as the police tried to paint the former UP student as a robber.

She took note of how the “nanlaban” excuse from the Caloocan cops who killed Arnaiz was just not possible when the autopsy conducted on the teenager’s body showed handcuff marks on his arms.

Elago then went on to call for an end to the implementation of the Oplan Double Barrel Reloaded and to bring justice to the victims of the killings by abusive cops and human rights abusers.
