Lacson agrees with Agot: Kung gusto mo magutom, ‘wag mo kaming idamay

Actress Agot Isidro got the attention of the Filipinos in various social networking sites when she posted a status on her Facebook last October 7 about her opinion on Duterte’s decision to cut ties with several international entities such as the United States, United Nations, and European Union.

The President earlier dared these three international bodies to withdraw their aid from the Philippines after voicing out their criticisms about his current war against drugs in the country.

“Unang-una, walang umaaway sa iyo. As a matter of fact, ikaw ang nang-aaway. Pangalawa, yung bansa kung saan ka iniluklok ng 16 million out of 100+ million people ay Third World. Kung makapagsalita ka parang superpower ang Pilipinas eh. At excuse me, ayaw namin magutom. Mag-isa ka na lang. Wag kang mandamay. Hindi na nga nakakain ang nakararami, gugutumin mo pa lalo. Pangatlo, may kilala akong psychiatrist. Patingin ka. Hindi ka bipolar. You are a psychopath,” the actress wrote on her Facebook.

This earned her the attention of the people because of her remark on the president being a “psychopath”. Despite the many negative comments thrown at her after this statement, Senator Panfilo Lacson expressed his agreement with what the actress said on Wednesday, October 12.

“Sa isang banda si Agot Isidro may sense sinasabi; kung gusto mo magutom, magutom ka mag isa ‘wag mo kami idamay.” Lacson said in an interview.

He further added that a lot of Filipinos will starve if the country’s economy turns bad after this. Lacson said that this challenge thrown by Duterte does not help the Philippines at all.

“Sinabi na puputulin bilateral ties or joint exercises then babawiin, na di talaga ganoon ibig sabihin, walang planong i-abrogate ang MDT. Anong maitutulong noon?” he added.

Moreover, Lacson stated that aside from foreign policy, a lot of other things can be affected by this development of PH relations to other countries, including the country’s economy.
