The Ilocos Norte Governor said that the Marcos family thanked the people who testified of her father’s right to be buried at the Libingan ng mga Bayani.
The first person that she thanked was President Rodrigo Duterte for suggesting the Marcos burial.
Imee Marcos also expressed her gratitude to the thousands of people who supported their family. She said that the supporters, along with the family, waited for this day for almost three decades.
She also expressed her apology because of the family’s choice of making the burial “simple, private, and solemn.”

Imee ended her speech with expressing endless gratitude.
This is her speech, as posted on her official Facebook page.
