After falling victim to Risa meme on terrorist overkill, Bruce Rivera slams fake meme makers

Lawyer and staunch Duterte supporter Bruce Rivera hope fake meme makers be struck by lightning for trying to mislead people.
Rivera said he removed the meme containing the fake statement of Senator Risa Hontiveros about her wanting to have Filipino soldiers investigated for suspected overkill in the deaths of terrorist leaders Omar Maute and Isnilon Hapilon.

“Took out the Risa meme kasi di daw totoo. Tamaan sana ng kidlat ang gumagawa ng meme na hindi totoo and passing it off as the truth,” Rivera posted on Facebook.

His post came hours after he chastised Hontiveros’ “high-IQ quotes,” including her fake statement where she wanted to probe the soldiers in Marawi to check whether they committed human rights violations and whether there was overkill in the killings of Hapilon and Maute.

Meme Buster busted Rivera’s post based on the fake Hontiveros statement.

Hontiveros also clarified that she did not make that statement about the terrorists’ deaths at all.
