Yap shared the link to Facebook groups such as “Duterte Ka!,” “Rudy Duterte Fans Club,” and “Solid Duterte for President 2016.”

But when we clicked on the link at duthirty.ga, we only found a YouTube video that is a 1.5 minutes long.

The video content is not even relevant in any way to Yap’s shared links about De Lima’s alleged demise. Instead, it is about the intensified security in the New Bilibid Prison extension facility at the NBI headquarters, where 19 Bilibid VIP inmates are incarcerated and isolated. The heightened security was imposed after the spot inspection in the NBI jail still yielded gadgets and cash from among the inmates’ possession.
This was actually the video embedded in the link shared by Yap.
This means that Yap was actually sharing a death hoax about De Lima by using a misleading title. The senator is still in prison, but she is alive and well.
The links shared by Yap were also published on May 1. This was the same day her colleagues from the Senate minority bloc, including Senate Minority Leader Franklin Drilon, Senators Antonio Trillanes IV, Risa Hontiveros, and Francis Pangilinan visited her at the PNP custodial center in Camp Crame at around 11am.
According to Pangilinan’s post, De Lima told him her stress levels were reduced for not having access to gadgets.
“Sabi ni Sen. Leila de Lima nabawasan yung kanyang stress kasi wala na yung iPad, yung cellphone, yung laptop. Nastre-stress na lang siya kapag nababasa niya ‘yung diyaryo,” Pangilinan wrote.
Well, De Lima looks like she is well enough to talk to Pangilinan about her situation in prison.
De Lima’s camp also released the Senator’s Labor Day message through her Facebook note.
