Duterte supporter lawyer Bruce Rivera fell for the fake meme circulating online that claimed Senator Risa Hontiveros wanted to have the Filipino soldiers investigated over suspicions of overkill in the deaths of terrorist leaders Isnilon Hapilon and Omar Maute.
Risa,” he added.
He also slammed Hontiveros’ “high-IQ quotes.”
“I try my best to be positive pero you bring the palengkera in me with your high-IQ quotes,” Rivera said.
Rivera’s slamming of Hontiveros over the fake statement was even covered by blog theinsights.net, which is now being shared online.
However, Memebuster already busted that meme with its fake statement from Hontiveros with our article, “Busted: Hontiveros wants soldiers investigated over allegations of overkill in Maute, Hapilon’s deaths? It’s a fake statement!”
Hontiveros also released her own clarification over the statement, tagging it as fake news.
“Friends, this is another piece of fake news about me. I did not ask for an investigation of our valiant Marawi soldiers over Maute, Hapilon deaths. This interview and quote did not happen,” she wrote.
