PNP and AFP confirmed on Friday morning that the remains of the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos Sr. will be buried at the Libingan ng mga Bayani in Taguig City at 12 noon today.

National Capital Region Police Office Chief Supt. Oscar Albayalde said in his interview on dzMM that Marcos’ remains were airlifted from Laoag, Ilocos Norte at 9 this morning.
As per CNN Philippines’ live broadcast on Facebook, the funeral rites are ongoing.
The Inquirer said that a source from the AFP that the Marcoses requested a “private burial and was requested held in confidentiality.”
