In a Facebook post, those who are involved in corruption would simply laugh at the public after committing their crime, unless they get the capital punishment once convicted.
“Hanggang walang DEATH PENALTY para sa mga korap na pulitiko tatawanan lang tayo ng mga trapo. Ginagawa tayong tanga ng mga pulitikong ito,” she wrote on Facebook on December 7.
President Rodrigo Duterte earlier called for the reimposition of death penalty for heinous crimes.
“In the Philippines, it’s really an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. You took a life, then you must pay [for] it with life,” Duterte said.
