An article about Melania Trump, the new First Lady of the US, supposedly reacting to Duterte’s comment about her has surfaced online.
Recently, President Rodrigo Duterte spoke of his admiration of the American First Lady while he was giving a light-hearted speech for the birthday celebration of Philippine National Police Chief Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa.
According to Duterte, he was jealous of Trump because he is a billionaire, a president, and has a beautiful wife on top of all that.

“Billionare, grabeng ganda ng asawa niyan. Inggit ako,” Duterte said.
Duterte and Trump are often compared to each other for having similar behavior and political ideologies but Duterte said that Trump has an advantage, and that it was his wife, Melania.
“Naging presidente ka na, ang asawa mo… heaven ka na. ‘Yun ang lamang niya sa akin,” he added.
After this comment from President Duterte, an article from inquirer.local-reports.com was posted that Mrs. Trump allegedly responded to the Philippine President.
According to the article, the American First Lady thanked Duterte and returned the compliment as well.
“Thank you Rodrigo Duterte. We all love you and you are very attractive and handsome as well,” Mrs. Trump allegedly said.

However, as of writing, no official news about a response from Mrs. Trump was posted. It is also not even clear if Mrs. Trump really heard of this compliment from President Duterte.
Morever, inquirer.local-reports.com had been busted by Meme Buster several times for posting false and misleading articles. The article did not state when and where Melania Trump made her response to Duterte. It also did not cite any sources where they got the news, which only adds to the suspicion of the article’s claims and the entire website’s credibility.
Some of the hoaxes from local-reports.com that we’ve busted include articles about Ghana president saying Duterte is his role model, Thailand bank confirming the gold transfer, Russia creating 2 million jobs in the Philippines, Trump singing a visa-free policy for Asia, and more.
