US President-elect Donald Trump has made several controversial comments and even figured in a scandal with him heard saying about how went about groping and kissing women without their permission during the US election campaign. This time, he figured in an article shared by Facebook fan pages for the Dutertes. The article bears this title: “Donald Trump: I Wonder Why Leila de Lima’s Father Didn’t Use Condom.”

The article being shared was posted by a blog called viraldutertenews.blogspot.com. It claimed that Trump picked on Senator Leila de Lima, who has been probed for her alleged links to the illegal drug trade in the New Bilibid Prison. It added that when Trump was asked what he’d do if he’d be given the chance to time travel, he answered: “I would go back to August 27, 1959 when this crook was born and give her father a condom to spare Filipinos such a problem.”

Trump was also supposed to have said this about de Lima’s drug-related cases: “They should not be investigating her, she belongs to the jail.”
When asked about his relationship with the Philippines, Trump supposedly said that he is not close to Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte, when “many media outlets have been reporting that Duterte and Trump are long term friends.”
And the blog’s source? TheT1mes.com. Yep, this is the website that started out as a satire site only for it to turn into a fake news site after it removed its disclaimer about being a source of satirical articles.
