If Trump has #covfefe, the PCOO has #fafda and it’s trending now!

Look at the Twitter trends and #fafda is in the top 10 list of trending hashtags.

As of writing, it is in the fourth spot.

#fafda PCOO

The word trended after it was tweeted then immediately deleted by the Twitter page @PresidentialComm.

So, Twitter users wondered if this is the Philippines’ version of US President Donald Trump’s weird “covfefe” tweet.

Twitterverse offered a barrage of possible meanings of #fafda.

One said fafda could mean “Frightening Amount of Filipinos Dead Already.”

Other Twitter users are even using the hashtag now to hit the police and the impunity in the country.

But fafda is actually an Indian dish with a yellow color, at that.

“Fafda is an Indian dish that uses turmeric – thus, you can say it’s dilawan. #fafda,” @tkpanganiban tweeted.

Was the PCOO Twitter admin craving for some fafda?

Or was PCOO trying to introduce a piece of Indian culture to the Filipinos?

At least, it seemed education for many.

Or was Communication Secretary Martin Andanar’s office trying to entertain people?

One hugotero got involved, too.

Others are trying to use fafda to replace some song lyrics or movie title.

Some slammed PCOO’s incompetence.
