When the results of the November 8 American elections came out, how did you react?
Well, Twitter user @asshulz spotted how Senator Sherwin “Win” Gatchalian reacted differently to US President-elect Donald Trump’s victory as he used two different Twitter accounts. The senator maintained a personal account @stgatchalian and an official one @WinGatchalian74.

“sobrang funny na dalawa account ni win gatchalian (@stgatchalian @WinGatchalian74) DEAR SENATOR YOU’RE A PUBLIC FIGURE WE SEE EVERYTHING,” @asshulz has said in his tweet.

We checked both of the senator’s accounts and looked for his reactions to Trump’s victory.
In his personal account, Gatchalian was freaking out about Trump’s possible win.
“If Trump wins, I’m migrating to another planet,” he tweeted.

And for that tweet, he was bashed for reacting the same way anti-Duterte Filipinos did during the Philippine elections, although some Twitter users did agree with him.
On the same day, he retweeted ABS-CBN reporter Ces Drilon’s tweet about the changing forecast in the US elections, based on New York Times’ report. Gatchalian once again expressed his desire to migrate.

But his official Twitter account told a completely different story when it comes to his reaction to Trump getting elected as the next American president.
“I hope President @realDonaldTrump will be willing to continue the cordial trade relationship between our countries,” Gatchalian tweeted.

And those who noticed @asshulz revelation on Twitter reacted as to how “unbelievable” it seemed for someone like Gatchalian to have two a “rant” account, with one noting that the senator seemed to be a “two-faced politician.”

But as Senator Gatchalian has noted in his personal Twitter account, he said: “My personal twitter account will be for my personal opinions & statements.”
Does this mean that his personal views are different from his views as a duly-elected senator of this country?
As of posting, the tweet has been retweeted 329 times and liked 917 times since it was posted on November 9.
