Sara Duterte slams Tindig Pilipinas members: Ano ititindig niyo? Paninindigang Trapo

Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte roasted three members of the group called Tindig Pilipinas for being “plastic” and “opportunists” who used to ask President Rodrigo Duterte’s endorsement and support and who now criticize the President’s governance.

Mayor Sara even gave the group a different name – Hunger Games Pilipinas, referencing the Hunger Games salute the group’s members used during a certain event.

She hit Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan first for asking for her father’s endorsement years ago for his plans to run for president.

Gusto mo tumakbo Presidente, ansabe mo? “With Sharon’s indorsement and your (PRD) indorsement I’m sure I can make it.”

She recalled how then senatorial candidate Risa Hontiveros asked for her support to win votes in Davao City.

I can remember your bored face listening to me in our law office just so you can get support for Davao,” she added.

Senator Antonio Trillanes IV was also hit in the Davao City mayor’s tirades.

No. You know why? I never liked your circus sa Manila Peninsula.

Sara said that she would reserve her remarks about Vice President Leni Robredo, who earlier distanced herself from Tindig Pilipinas.

“I am not part of Tindig Pilipinas. I think it is better for groups like this to be organic and coming from ordinary citizens, without the meddling of politicians,” Robredo said.

Sara also clarified that she was not spouting “chismis” because she has personal knowledge and corroborative witnesses of the incidents she mentioned.

She slammed all three Tindig Pilipinas members for asking her father for help without taking issue with his governance then and for criticizing the way he runs the country now after President Duterte won the election.

Wala. Ngayon na nanalo na siya? Meron. Hunger Games, Pilipinas: Plastic na, oportunista pa,” she said.

“Kayo 3 may ambisyon mag Presidente, I grew up in politics, mas matagal pako sa pulitika kesa sa inyo 3 combined. I smell ambition a million miles away. Akala ninyo yung circus ninyo ngayon magpapanalo sa inyo sa 2022? Hindi,” she added.

Hitting the group once more, Sara said, “Ano ititindig niyo? Paninindigang Trapo.”

“Mamuyboy ko? Yes.

Mamuyboy in English means “recounting of past favors.”

Mayor Sara was reacting to a news report about how Tindig Pilipinas told President Duterte that the honeymoon period is over and that he should listen to calls to stop the extrajudicial killings in the country.

Tindig Pilipinas was launched by opposition lawmakers and civic organizations in a bid to stop the alleged extrajudicial killings in the country.
