Vice President Leni Robredo has figured in a lot of fake stories, but this recent one about her planning to introduce “hour sex breaks at work” is pretty ridiculous. Unfortunately, some netizens still bought it and bashed Robredo for it, calling her names.

Facebook user Allan Fernandez shared the story to the Duterte support page “OFW4DU30 Global Movement.
The article even seems legit because it was made to look like it came from rappler.com. But when you click on the link, you will find yourself reading a page off a blog called online.read-news.com.

Robredo allegedly proposed a paid hour of break to go home and get intimate with their partner because she is worried that busy professional lives have caused couples to “neglecting things in the bedroom,” as the website put it, which eventually leads to the breakdown in relationships.
The Vice President was even quoted saying the following things:
“There are studies that show sex is healthy.”
“It’s about having better relationships and improving efficiency at work.”
The proposal, though, was only limited to employees who are “genuinely leaving to get laid,” the website wrote.
Do you buy the story?
It is absurd and obviously fake, yet some netizens still took it as real news, criticizing Robredo in the process.
Some called her crazy and “adik.”

One tried to call the European Union’s attention to Robredo’s alleged proposal.
However, a netizen pointed out that the story is fake because it only serves to ruin President Rodrigo Duterte and his supporters.
And the netizen is right! The story is a hoax from a fake news site that created a death hoax about Russian President Vladimir Putin, former Philippine Foreign Affairs Secretary Perfecto Yasay getting sacked for issuing passports to Indonesians, and more.
