Robredo has already denied any plans to impeach Duterte and she has vowed full support for the president-elect.
“The amount of support that I was willing to give to Secretary Mar will be the same kind and will be the same amount of support that I should give to whoever wins the presidency,” said Robredo.

“He deserves my 100 percent support. It wouldn’t benefit the Filipinos if he wouldn’t get the support he deserves,” she added.
During the National Day Celebration for the Filipino community in Tokyo, Japan on June 26, Robredo was invited as a guest by outgoing Philippine Ambassador Manuel Lopez and made a call for Filipinos to set aside differences and support Duterte’s administration.
“Dahil kailangan tayong mag-aspire ulit bilang isang bansa, sana kung ano ang differences na pinagdaanan noong nakaraang eleksyon, handa tayong isantabi iyon para suportahan iyong ating susunod na magiging Pangulo; para suportahan iyong susunod na administrasyon,” Robredo said in her speech.
“Kasi po iyong success ng administrasyong ito, mai-translate iyon sa success ng buong bansa. Sana kung anuman ang pangit na pinagdaanan noong eleksyon, sana handa tayong tanggapin at pakinggan iyong boses ng ating mga kababayan, at boses ninyo rin,” she added.
Robredo and Duterte are preparing separate inaugurations this June 30, as requested by Duterte’s camp. They have not formally met, but Robredo said that she already has an appointment with Duterte, whenever he is available. There is a huge possibility now, though, that the meeting will only happen once they are both in office.
Robredo has always been consistent in expressing her full support for Duterte, so unlike what Duterte’s diehard supporters are accusing her of doing, she is not planning to impeach Duterte.
