Among the fake news that we found are about Thailand bank confirming the gold deposit during the Aquino administration, one of Robredo’s staff committing suicide after #LeniLeaks, Trump singing a visa-free travel policy for Asia, and Trump tripling aid to the Philippines. It also published a lot of death hoaxes about Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte, former President Benigno Aquino III, John Gokongwei, actor John Arcilla, and Jinkee Pacquaio, among others.

Newsmediaph.com is one of the websites with articles that are being widely shared by Facebook fan pages. We could not find its About Us page, but when we scanned its published articles, it has a mix of genuine news stories and fake ones picked up mostly from other fake news sites. This meant that newsmediaph.com did not exert enough effort in verifying just how true a story is before publishing it on its website.
Some of the fake news stories carried by newsmediaph.com that we have busted are about Trump warning Filipinos it will take 50 years before finding another Duterte, Duterte having the biggest following on social media, Trump warning to deport De Lima from the US, Ramos hiding P250 million drug money in his house, Robredo being deported from the US, Robredo getting an abortion, Putin condemning LP members, and more.
