Presidential Communications Office Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson denied on July 3 that she does have not have editors managing her blog, contrary to what her boss, PCOO Secretary Martin Andanar, said last week.
Uson took to Facebook to deny the report about her blog having editors.
“PARA SA KAALAMAN NG LAHAT – HINDI PO TOTOO ANG BALITANG MAGLALAGAY TAYO NG EDITOR SA ATING BLOG. ANG MOCHA USON BLOG AY HINDI KAILANGAN I-FILTER DAHIL ITO AY BOSES NG ORDINARYONG PILIPINO. SIGURADO AKONG NA-MISQUOTE SI SEC. MARTIN, DAHIL WALA KAMING USAPANG GANITO,” she wrote on Facebook on July 3.
“AT SANA VINERIFY MUNA NG ABS-CBN News GMA News SA ATIN ITO. UNLESS HINDI NA USO SA KANILA YUN,” she added.
Uson reportedly told GMA News Online that the only change she made since being appointed as PCOO Asec is not to use expletives.
“Hindi na po ako nagmumura,” she said.
However, GMA News Online stood by their story when they said that Andanar told reporters on June 28 that Uson is getting editors for her blog with over 5 million followers.
They news site also noted Andanar’s June 24 radio interview, where he said that Uson should be “more circumspect” with her Facebook posts now that she is a government official and that she should hire people to run her blog.
As of writing, Andanar has yet to respond to Uson’s statement about having editors for her blog.
