Vice President Leni Robredo’s supporters are making their voices and messages of encouragement heard as the hashtag #LabanLeni trends.

This came after Robredo announced her resignation as the chair of the Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC) from President Rodrigo Duterte’s Cabinet on Sunday, December 4. According to her statement, she resigned after she received a text message from Cabinet Secretary Jun Evasco barring her from attending Cabinet meetings starting Monday, as ordered by President Duterte through his executive assistant Christopher “Bong” Go.
