Trillanes’ fact checking showed that Matobato has a firearm license card for a Colt .45 pistol. He also has a permit to carry firearms outside of residence.
In Matobato’s application for firearm license, the office address is the Davao City Mayor’s Office. And the source of the firearm was Arthur Lascañas, further proving that Matobato and Lascañas worked together.
Matobato was also shown to have a permit to transport and purchase firearms and ammunition for his Colt .45. The address is still the Davao City Mayor’s Office. Lascañas was also named in the document.
