President Rodrigo Duterte denied involvement in the release of Senator Leila de Lima’s alleged scandalous video with her driver-lover, considering the move below the belt.
“Pero hindi yan akin. Masyadong below the belt na ‘yan,” Duterte said.
Speaking in front of the members of the Jesus the Anointed One Church in Davao City on August 31, Duterte discussed de Lima and her s3x tape.
“Ang number 1 na problema natin ang droga. Number 1 na kritiko naman, sige daldal nang daldal, human right human right. Pati si Obama. Yun pala may ano siya, may serye. Kita naman ninyo lahat ‘yun. Pero hindi ‘yun akin,” Duterte said, referring to de Lima’s alleged s3x scandal video.

Duterte also said de Lima received a warning.
“Pero she had a warning,” he said, apparently referring to the s3x video. “Pero may warning na siya na meron yan.”
Duterte once again made mention of de Lima’s driver and how de Lima thought that the s3x video was just a joke until it was released.
“Ang driver nya, ano na, kalat na… Pero ‘yung video akala niya pang-ano lang, pang-gamble. She thought all the while that it was just a joke to gamble the… a political leverage. That’s what you call it. Lumabas,” he said.
But he denied any involvement in releasing the video since doing so is below the belt.
“Pero hindi yan akin. Masyadong below the belt na ‘yan,” he added.
Unlike the tone of his tirades against de Lima, Duterte sort of defended her, saying that the senator was simply doing her job.
“E trabaho niya ‘yun. Human rights. Di hayaan mo,” Duterte said.

This is not the first time Duterte has insisted that de Lima has a s3x video.
In a GMA News Online report on August 24, he said that the senator was the woman in a screen capture of an alleged s3x video.
“Lumabas na lahat e, pati yung kalokohan niya sa kama. Hindi photoshop yan, sinadya talaga ng lalake yan at pumayag yan,” Duterte said.
“Because na-in-love,” he added.
This time, Duterte named a certain “Warren” as de Lima’s new boyfriend.
In an earlier press briefing at the Senate on August 18, Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Director General Ronald dela Rosa was asked if de Lima had a s3x tape uploaded online.
“I tried to play it but it wouldn’t work. It was not a video. I saw the play arrow but it didn’t work when I tried to play it. I think what is being circulated are stills,” Dela Rosa replied.
As for Duterte’s accusations that de Lima was linked to the drug trade with the help of her former driver, dela Rosa said that the information did not come from the PNP but from another agency working on the case.

Woman in the alleged s3x video was an adult star, not de Lima
Memebuster has already busted the photos of a screen capture of what was claimed to be de Lima’s s3x video. However, the woman in the photos was not de Lima.
It turned out that the woman was actually an adult star and the photos were a screen capture of a video off an adult site.
Even de Lima herself said she was not convinced such a video exists, noting how every time she is in the middle of a high-profile investigation, talks about her alleged s3x video comes up.
De Lima leads the Senate inquiry into the killings that happened since the Duterte administration declared its war against drugs.
