Vice President Leni Robredo is said to have refused the opening of the case investigating the “extra judicial killings in Hacienda Luisita” at the Senate. At least this is an article claimed and this is what a Duterte fan page used to slam Robredo.
The article was also shared by other Duterte and Marcos fan pages. It was posted by blogs Dutertedailynews and Du30newsinfo, which is in our list of sites that share fake and satirical news.

According to the article, Robredo refused to open the Hacienda Luisita case as the senators decided to take a random vote regarding the issue. The voting was said to be “hosted by Senator Ralph Recto.” Recto voted for the reopening of the case, but Robredo was said to have “begged for closing it and declaring the voting is non-official. The article further claimed that Recto wanted to discuss the issue with other senators who sided with him, including Senators Manny Pacquiao, Panfilo Lacson, Tito Sotto, Dick Gordon, Alan Peter Cayetano, and Koko Pimentel.

But the source of the blogs pointed to a blog called abiascbn.blogspot.com. We clicked on the “source” link, but only the URL showed that the blog indeed claimed that Robredo voted against the opening of the Hacienda Luisita case. The content is entirely irrelevant.
We looked for Facebook pages that might have shared abiascbn’s article and found that it indeed came from the blogspot.
As for its claims, we’d like to point out Robredo, as the vice president, is not allowed to interfere in the senate’s affairs. Why would she be given the chance to vote on what to do with the Hacienda Luisita case?
Let’s also consider the fact that abiascbn is also responsible for posting fake articles claiming that Senator Risa Hontiveros passed a bill requiring tattoos to be covered up in public; Senator Antonio Trillanes’ son, who turned out to be his dead baby, had his microphone turned off; and the late President Cory Aquino being beatified.
To clarify, this claim about Robredo refusing to reopen the Hacienda Luisita case is completely made up and its source is fond of sharing hoaxes.
