Busted: Do we have a modern Nostradamus in our midst? No, it’s just a Facebook feature

After the Pulse night club shooting in Orland that killed at least 50 people, dubbed as the worst mass shooting in the history of the United States, a Facebook user named Pablo Reyes went viral. He gained social media fame after he predicted the mass shooting, among other things.

What was seen as a Facebook post made on December 27, 2015 went on like this:
“Call me crazy but in 2016 Hillary Clinton will be the first female president, the world will go crazy over the death of a gorilla, Prince will die, Muhammad Ali will die, Kimbo Slice will die, Donald Trump will die. The USA will experience the worst mass shooting.. I’m not trying to scare anyone, but you’ll remember my name.”

Four out of seven of his predictions came true, which was possibly why his post has since gained about 118,000 reactions and over 166,000 shares as of writing. Some commenters appeared to be shocked by his ‘predictions,’ with one even branding him as the next Nostradamus. But is he really one?
